Fluffy Churches

While in Florida I attended church with Trish and Dave and was so excited that I finally found a place I could call home. There is one other church that could be my home but it’s on the front range in Colorado and several hours from where I live. This church is the type of teaching that I love to be under. In your face, brutally honest, spirit filled, and under someone not afraid to speak the truth. Our world so desperately needs more leaders like this at Foundation Church. While there we also spent a week in revival with Jonhathan Shuttleworth and saw people healed and miracles and wonders happen. So, with that in mind I just have to say something about what I call fluffy churches.
I believe that our society is in a horrific mess because many of the physical churches have turned the gospel of Jesus into a competition of entertainment, have closed their doors in the name of “safety and love” because of a government mandate of fear, but worse yet they have chosen to water down the power of God’s word so that anything is acceptable.
It’s not just the physical churches that have failed our country and the people of this great nation, it is the Christians/believers/us. The people attending what I call fluffy churches; meaning churches that make believers feel good and just talk about the goodness of God and love. Teaching that has no Holy Spirit transformation, major life impact, miracles, or conviction. These fluffy churches have become fearful and have removed the POWER of the Holy Spirt and in doing so the church/believers have bowed down to the life of comfort and anything goes.
These fluffy churches are the most dangerous entity in our society not only for non-believers, but also for believers because the entire truth is not being spoken or taught; it’s become fluffed up to appease the ears of people, to make sure people comfortable, and to make sure everyone feels good.
2 Timothy 3:5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
Too many believers have cowered and not taken a stand on the actual Word of God, or are unsure what the Word says, or twist the Word of God to make it fit into what they are doing. Sadly, because of these fluffy churches many believers have totally been misled and deceived.
God calls us to be the light of the world, to be different, obey His Word and walk accordingly, and to hold each other accountable to His Word. Because too many of us have sat in these fluffy churches, have stayed silent out of fear, or some of us burdened but not even sure what to do, we are in the mess that we are in today.
Make no mistake about it, we are in a spiritual battle my friends, and this is no time to be fluffy. Right now, we are in this time and place to fight against good and evil and it’s not a physical battle but a spiritual and mental battle. We MUST guard our hearts and minds, be aware, seek wisdom and discernment, and be obedient to what God calls us to do. The only way to do this because it’s not easy, is we need to put on our armor of God, be filled with Holy Spirit Power, and start taking a stand based on the Word of God for our marriages, families, children, and our nation.
Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
I’m saying this because it’s a sad reality and I’m preparing you for a video that all believers must watch. If this doesn’t shake you up and make you seek the Holy Spirit with all your mind, soul, and body; then God’s mercy be upon you. What you will see in this video is something many of us have known for years, but we are called haters, conspiracy theorists, and many other names.
The truth of what is going on in our nation has been hidden, blocked on social media, and many deadly attempts on many people’s lives have been made so YOU/the BELIVER are kept in the dark. My friends, wake up, get into the WORD, put on your spiritual armor, and hold onto God Almighty because there is more to come. The reason we are being deceived is because when we walk in the Holy Spirit, there is POWER, TRUTH, and true FREEDOM, and no evil or dark sprits can touch us.
