LISTEN TO TODAY’S READING
TODAY’S SCRIPTURES PROVERBS 9:1-6
Wisdom has built her house; she has set up its seven pillars. She has prepared her meat and mixed her wine; she has also set her table. She has sent out her servants, and she calls from the highest point of the city,
“Let all who are simple come to my house!” To those who have no sense she says, “Come, eat my food and drink the wine I have mixed. Leave your simple ways and you will live; walk in the way of insight.
CATHY’S THOUGHTS PROVERBS 9:1-6
Basically, this short and power packed message is saying: only the wise are invited to this banquet; the foolish are unworthy. Wisdom is personified as a woman who has prepared a great feast. All through this book, wisdom is inviting and calling us. I don’t know about you, but I would want to attend the feast of wisdom!!
Still need to do more research on the seven pillars, not really finding anything at the moment.
