God Confidence (Part 2)

SCRIPTURE FOR THIS LESSON
2 Chronicles 16:8-9 Were not the Cushites and Libyans a mighty army with great numbers of chariots and horsemen? Yet when you relied on the Lord, he delivered them into your hand. For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. You have done a foolish thing, and from now on you will be at war.
Exodus 14:14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.

- When we rely on ourselves or look only for human solutions we are acting foolish.
- When we place our confidence in God Alone, He promises to strengthen us and do battle on our behalf.
- Self confidence is trust in my own ability to handle people and circumstances.
- God confidence is trust in God’s ability to handle people and circumstances.
- When I have God confidence I can forget about myself and focus on the job at hand!
